Brut
Brut means dry. The dosage added to the bottle contains very little sugar
Demi Sec
Demi-sec wines contain a dosage with a noticeable amount of sugar. These champagnes are decidedly sweet but not sappy and are the only ones that pair well with desserts
Rose
Made either by blending in a little red wine or by letting the clear grape juice come into contact with the dark grape skins, rose champagnes range in hue from pale onion skin to salmon and copper and vary widely in taste.
Vintage
Like all Champagnes, vintage Champagne is also a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier – but all harvested in just one year. It is aged for at least 3 years
Sparkling wine
Cava
This is simply Spanish sparkling wine. Made the same way as Champagne but with different grapes. They can come in different styles: brut, semi-Seco, or extra brut amongst others depending on the level of sweetness.
Prosecco
Prosecco is a sparkling wine from the Veneto and Friuli regions in Italy. It is the name of a white grape used to produce sparkling wine. So just as Champagne is named after the region, this is named after the grape. Pro Tip: Top this up with some orange juice to make a Mimosa to enjoy at brunch.

Bitters are a type of spirit infused with fruit, spices, leaves, bark, roots, and herbs—collectively known as botanicals. Brandy
Brandy is the liquor distilled from wine. Typically made from grapes but can be made with other fruits. Enjoy it straight, on the rocks, or in a cocktail. Fun Fact: All Cognac is Brandy but not all brandy is Cognac.
Cognac
Cognac is a specific type of brandy made in the Cognac region of France. Therefore made following strict regulations set by the region. These are the meanings of the letters you see on the bottles. VS – very special. Aged for at least two years. VSOP- Very Superior Old Pale. Aged at least 4 years. XO- Extra Old. Aged at least 6 years
Gin
