Writers’ Tears Limited Edition Tequila Cask Finish is a unique Irish whiskey bottled at 47% ABV, showcasing an innovative maturation process that brings together Irish whiskey craftsmanship and Mexican tequila heritage.

This exceptional release is first matured in traditional bourbon barrels before being finished for nine months in Añejo tequila casks sourced from Amber Production Tequila in the town of Tequila, Mexico. The tequila cask finishing imparts vibrant character, added complexity, and a distinctive flavor profile while preserving the whiskey’s rich Irish pot still heritage.
